Global Wallet Website

Part I: Homepage

Following the design of the Global Wallet app, the next phase was creating a website to enhance its digital presence. The primary goal was to design a homepage that engages potential customers while serving as a portal for existing users.

Goals

  • Design a homepage feature that allows users to quickly check exchange rates.
  • Highlight the key benefits and features of Global Wallet, with clear calls to action encouraging users to log in or join.
  • Build trust in Global Wallet by emphasizing its safety and encouraging users to download the app seamlessly.

Competitor Analysis/  Inspiration

Wise offers a simple website with immediate calls to action.

Xe prompts users and offers a view of their rates.

The Design Process

1. Ideate

Using quick sketches I was able to quickly create ideas for the layout of the homepage. The starred designs had layouts I wanted to carry forward into the digital wireframe.

2. Digital Wireframe

I transferred my sketches into  digital wireframes for both web and mobile versions of the website.

Style Guide

Before creating the mockups, I developed a comprehensive style guide to streamline the website design process. The style guide included reusable components, enabling effortless swapping and consistency throughout the design. I also leveraged Figma's Auto Layout feature to ensure adaptability and efficiency during the design phase.

Part II: Registration and Dashboard

Goal

The goal of the registration process is to provide a seamless experience for users by requesting only the essential information needed to get started. To minimize drop-offs, the process is divided into three simple steps. Once completed, users have the option to link their bank accounts immediately or skip this step and proceed directly to their dashboard.
